Description
- Essential Responsibilities for a Mining Manager Record Archiving and Document Management
Keep accurate records of employees as well as equipment and production information.
Control the filing and archiving related to production documents. - Data Reporting and Entry:
Input information into systems such as SAP create reports and monitor KPIs or key performances indicators (KPIs) in mining processes. - Coordination and Scheduling:
Create schedules that coordinate mining workers in addition to equipment maintenance and other operational duties.
Assist in the scheduling of meeting times, travel plans along with other administration tasks. - Supply and Procurement Chain Services:
They may be involved in placing orders for safety equipment, supplies as well as other supplies that are required for mining operations.
Assist in the management of inventory and making sure that deliveries are made on time. - Payroll and Financial Support:
Assist in processing payroll, entry of data in financial transactions as well as preparing invoices for contractors or customers. - Compliance and Regulations:
Be sure to adhere to all applicable mine regulations and safety procedures and environmental regulations. - Liaison and Communication:
Serve as a point contact for external and internal parties, and provide administrative support to managers as well as other team members. - Other administrative tasks:
Perform other administrative tasks when needed such as answering the phone or managing emails and offering general support for office tasks.
Requirements
- Higher school or similar, along with additional training or certificates in business administration or office management related fields.
- Knowledge about mining operation, security procedures and regulations for the industry.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal abilities. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- 2+ years of minimum administrative experience within a Construction or mining environment.
- Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, SAP)
