Description
To collect geological and radiometric data from drill holes in order to determine the amount of uranium present through downhole probing, and make sure that the product is in compliance with requirements for quality as part of the control over grade systemor method.
Key Performance Areas
- Take all data related to probing and conduct field inspections to verify the validity of the data. Report the errors.
- Offer support to long term or short-term probing initiatives.
- Utilize and manage the geophysical equipment as well as the vehicle in accordance with the operating procedure. or as per the instructions.
- Record, accurately measure and record relevant geological information. Find information needed to create models that will facilitate the rapid distribution of resource information and reserve updates.

Requirements
- Grade 12 or the current NSSCO at 20 or more points across five subjects.
- Two years’ experience with collecting data using radiometric instruments of which one year must have been in mining context.
- A basic computer certificate is an additional benefit.
- Basic knowledge of equipment systems for probing.
- You must have the ability and knowledge to manage large sets of data in spreadsheets.
- A valid code B/BE Driver’s License.
