Job Purpose
Process and analyze, understand, present and collate financial and non-financial details to inform strategy, facilitate decision making and assist Nedbank Business Units, as according to the company’s business plan.
Job Responsibilities
- Verify that all general ledger entries are correct and correctly verified and posted by reviewing daily reports, conducting quality control checks and asking questions about the incorrect postings.
- Conduct quality control inspections (daily and monthly processes) by confirming the accuracy of data as well as the proper authorization. Also, reconcile your general ledger balances.
- Create annual financial statements that are in compliance to IFRS as well Compile each month’s Management Reports.
- Assist in the making forecasts and budgets within time frames by gathering requirements from business as well as understanding trends in business as well as projecting the future, and recommending changes where necessary.
- Collecting data, creating reports while analyzing and commenting the results.
- Establish trusting relationships with colleagues through sharing knowledge from a professional perspective in a timely manner, delivering on time and professional work of the highest quality.

- Knowledge of SAP Accounting system will be an advantage.
- Valid Police Clearance
