Purpose Of The Position
As the Executive Secretary you will be the leader of CRASA in reaching its strategic objectives by enhancing efficiency in operations and overseeing stakeholder relations and serving as the principal representative for the organization. Your leadership will shape how the region will develop in both the ICT and postal industries within the region.
Key Performance Areas will include
- Strategy Planning and Implementation Manage CRASA’s expansion and sustainability by implementing strategic planning, policy review and alignment with the business goals.
- Leadership and Management: Create high-performing teams, effective resource management, and performance management Improve operational efficiency by fostering stakeholder relations as well as ensure high-quality service and efficiency.
- Financial Performance: Assure sustainable financial performance by planning, budgeting and partnerships to ensure revenue generation.
- Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure continuity of business operations and provide reports on risks management’s progress Capacity Building: Address training needs and arrange events for ICT and postal regulators; and ICTs and postal Regulation: Assist committees on regulatory issues, encourage information exchange, guarantee legal compliance and supervise the filing of documents.
Relevant Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in relevant areas like Telecommunications, Public Policy, Business Administration, or Finance;
- A postgraduate professional degree is an additional benefit.
- At least 10 years of’ experience in the ICT/Postal industry, including Five(5) years must be in a Senior Management Position with a track record of success in the areas of strategic leadership as well as financial management and policy formulation
