Requirements:-

• B degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia as a Professional Engineer or Incorporated Engineer.
• Code B driver’s license.
• Minimum three (3) years practical experience in in the fields related to HV Substation Engineering and Design
• Civil/Mechanical substation design
• Creation of layouts, schematics, and drawings for substations
• Engineering calculations for grounding, lightning, lighting, foundation, structural steel, etc.
• Bill of material compilation
• Project costing
• Substation construction site inspection
• Knowledge of construction law and standards
• Tender and Procurement Procedures.
• Administrative and financial exposure
